Prodution Video 5...a Holiday Gift

As if the debut of the trailer wasn't enough, Peter Jackson gives us another Production Video to get tingly about!

It amazed me that the Hobbiton location actually had a "Buckland Road" running through it before they ever scouted it or chose it for filming.  Providence it seems.

Many of my readers...if I have any...may already know that the landowners of the green hills where Peter Jackson built the Hobbiton movie set have allowed the various holes, props, and even The Green Dragon Inn to be permanently built this time around.  They have also contracted with a tour company to allow fans of the movies to experience Hobbiton themselves.

I think that's an amazing thing and I would LOVE to go to New Zealand one day and see Bag End for myself.  In the meantime, I (and you) can check out the first report of Hobbiton by The One Ring.
